Services

Four ways I work — often combined into one job.

Professional Deliveries

Safe, experienced boat delivery across the Caribbean and beyond — handled with the same care and attention as if it were my own vessel. Solo watches, daily upkeep, troubleshooting underway, and full preparation for handover.

  • Mile-building and offshore passages
  • Preparation of vessel and crew before departure
  • Hurricane season repositioning

Tailored Charters

Charters built around you, not a script — whether it's a family trip, a group of friends, or a working charter with specific goals in mind. My partner Katie often joins to help with provisioning, planning, and making the experience comfortable for everyone on board.

  • Family and friend-group charters
  • Goal-specific charters (mileage-building, exploring, training)
  • Full onboard support — navigation, safety, comfort

Tailored Training

One-on-one or family/group training, adapted to real skill level and real goals — no fixed syllabus. For owners getting to know a new boat, future buyers building experience before purchase, friend groups preparing to sail on their own, or aspiring instructors sharpening their skills before an official RYA course.

  • Owner and family training on your own boat
  • Pre-purchase training charters for future buyers
  • Friend-group training before an independent charter
  • Mentoring for aspiring RYA instructors

Maintenance & Systems

Hands-on maintenance, haul-outs, and systems setup — so you not only know how to sail your boat, but how to look after it. Often paired with training, so what gets fixed also gets taught.

  • Haul-out and bottom work
  • Engine, generator, and watermaker servicing
  • Systems setup and troubleshooting
  • Fleet maintenance and compliance oversight

How it comes together

It's rarely just one of these.

A haul-out becomes a chance to teach systems. A delivery becomes a mileage-building trip for the owner. A charter becomes the first step toward owning a boat. One captain, the right combination for the job in front of him.
