His career spans multiple sailing schools, charter companies, and private clients ranging from age fifteen to seventy-five, across the Caribbean, Atlantic, and Southern African waters. He has skippered and delivered vessels from 30 to 100 feet, monohull and catamaran, in coastal and offshore conditions.

Whether you are a new owner learning your boat, a family preparing for a passage, or a professional looking to build offshore miles, the focus stays on one outcome: that you leave capable, confident, and ready to handle situations on your own.

She's sailed the Caribbean firsthand, Chesapeake to Grenada, Puerto Rico, and back again, stopping at most islands along the way. That on-the-water experience comes into the training itself: helping the non-sailing partner build confidence and learn first mate duties, while sharing real knowledge of the islands, routes, and what to expect along the way.
A recent job in the Bahamas started as a haul-out and systems setup, and turned into training the whole family on anchoring, winches, the watermaker, the generator, and basic safety. By the end, they didn't need a captain anymore. That's the point.
